Thinking about getting married?
The Pre-Marriage Course is a series of five sessions, designed for couples considering marriage, whether engaged or not, and wishing to build a strong and lasting relationship.
Everyone is welcome to attend no matter their faith background.
How does it work?
The course runs exactly as it would be if you were attending in person, except that you will be able to do so from the comfort of your own home via Zoom - where you can replicate your own date night:
Each session will involve a practical talk on topics related to preparing for marriage, followed by a time for private discussion between you and your partner.
Prior to the start of the course or during the first few sessions, you may be sent a Couples Survey via email. This is a questionnaire and not a test of compatibility! It is designed to help you and your partner highlight issues that are important to discuss before getting married. It also affirms areas of strength in your relationship.
When does it start?
The course will be on Wednesday nights from 7-9pm beginning April 12, 2023.
The course will run for 5-consecutive weeks and the dates are listed below. Don't worry if you can't make all of them! You can come for one or all five.
What happens when we sign up?
Once you register, we will send you the link for you to connect to the online course.
The course is free of charge. You will need two study Journals — one for you and one for your partner. While we highly recommend purchasing physical copies from Amazon or The Alpha Shop, you may download a copy of each session by clicking on the links in the course outline below.
